With over 25 years of investigative experience, Scott serves as Senior Vice President with Smith & Carson. He leads the Product Liability team of investigators. In addition to managing the department, Scott's responsibilities include handling national and international field investigations for major corporations. He also assists with marketing and client relations for the Southeastern region.

Scott's primary areas of focus are automobiles, tires, heavy equipment, watercraft, ATVs, aircraft, firearms, power tools and scaffolding. He has conducted hundreds of investigations on behalf of product manufacturers, insurance companies, and local and national law firms. Scott was formerly a Deputy Sheriff in DeKalb County, Georgia, where he specialized in investigations.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University and attended the North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy. In addition to being licensed in several states, he is also a Georgia State Certified Private Investigator Instructor.
