Michael joined Smith & Carson in 1998. He is one of the leaders of the products liability team and corporate intelligence team. His expertise includes managing and investigating cases that involve civil litigation, due diligence, fraud, insurance defense, and white-collar crime. He is also involved in the development of the defense strategy for complex, high-profile cases, including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical, medical device, asbestos, and other products liability cases. Michael has managed large and small investigative projects on both a national and regional scale. He has assisted clients in attaining numerous defense verdicts and case dismissals. Michael is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In addition to managing the daily operations in the Northeast region, Michael is responsible for client relations, business development, case management, case auditing, and budgeting.

Michael earned a Masters of Science degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University.
